Between June 11 and 13, 2021, the Bácsfeketehegy Cherry Days event took place, offering unique programs alongside the flavors of the region.
Within the framework of gastronomy, a beef stew cooking competition challenged participants’ tasting skills, but those who preferred to play with food also had the chance to join in the fun. In addition to vegetable and fruit sculpture building, tastings, and a farmers’ market awaited the participants.
In addition to the delicious local flavors, visitors had the opportunity to get acquainted with local art. On the terrace of the cultural gas station, they could admire the works of the “My Village and My Cherry” contest, while the summer stage showcased installations from the “Most Beautifully Arranged Front Yard” contest. Inside the theater room, Hungarian and Serbian comedies added to the joyful atmosphere.
