Török Apiary is a family business built on over 50 years of experience and the love for bees, passed on from father to son through three generations.
Our technology is based on migratory beekeeping, and we have permanent locations in the Fruska Gora National Park, the Szabadka Sand Ridge Nature Reserve, and the Danube riverbank forests. Constantly moving our hives to different bee pastures ensures the excellent quality and diverse flavours of our products, reflecting the unique characteristics of each region. Our bee products include various types of honey, royal jelly, bee pollen, propolis, beeswax, as well as honey-based drinks like honey pálinka and mead, one of the oldest alcoholic beverages.
We process and store our products using state-of-the-art beekeeping equipment. From extraction to packaging, we adhere to high hygiene standards, ensuring that our customers can safely enjoy our region-specific honey.
Our family has a long beekeeping tradition, starting with the grandfather who began beekeeping as a young lad and, together with his wife, established a beekeeping dynasty. Through great challenges and learning from their own mistakes, they climbed to become one of the largest beekeepers in Vojvodina. They passed on their knowledge to their sons, gifting each of their three sons with bee colonies as a wedding present. Today, even some of our grandchildren are involved in beekeeping. My husband and I started our life together with these gifted bee colonies. Through hard work, innovation, and continuous learning, our humble beekeeping endeavor has grown into a professional apiary, and we are delighted to share it with you.
